IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS DURING YOUR STAY

While enjoying the beautiful sights on our island, please keep the following tips in mind.

Tip 1

The use of safety belts is not mandatory by law in Bonaire but it's for your own safety

Tip 2

Park in well-lit open areas as close to your destination as possible.

Tip 3

Do not leave luggage, packages or any valuables visible when you leave your car. It is best to store them in the trunk or glove compartment.

Tip 4

By dive sites when you leaving your vehicle leave your windows down and doors unlocked, Do not leave valuables in car.

Tip 5

Bonaire has many beautiful dive sites and beaches. Choose the most popular dive sites and beaches over the secluded ones. Ask at your dive shop or hotel for the location of beach or dive site wich you can visit. Do not dive with a lot of cash money or credit card, try to arrange the dive costs one day before with your dive shop.

Tip 6

For your own safety and avoid accidents and damages on the vehicle, please do not go closer with the vehicle to the Flamingo Sanctuaries.

Tip 7

Drive most carefully during day & night: this is for avoiding accident with the donkeys and goats on the road.

Tip 8

All our cars are using restrict unleaded gas.

Tip 9

If anything happens to yourself, your rental car or you need more information, please contact your car rental agent at 717-8313 / 717-7940 or the police: 911 717-8000 or your hotel. After closing hours 510-7933

Tip 10

For your own safety and to avoid accidents, please do not feed or photograph the wild donkeys near the road, we recommend you to visit the donkey sanctuary.

Tip 11

Bonaire has some bad roads. Please reduce your speed.

Tip 12

Please slow in case of wet road surface.
